Ein Lied über die SolidAHRität zwischen Nachbarn, über Regionen und Landesgrenzen hinaus ... cause you AHR not alone!
“You AHR not alone”, die neue Single der Heizer Monkeys aus England, ist der offizielle Song des SPENDEN-SHUTTLES. Er handelt von den Sorgen und der Tapferkeit der Menschen, die von der Flutkatastrophe betroffen sind. Sänger Joey kam extra aus Manchester, um seinen Freunden in Dernau beim Wiederaufbau zu helfen. Er schrieb den Song nach seiner Rückkehr nach England, gewidmet seinen vielen neuen Helfer-Freunde aus dem Ahrtal. Als die Band erkannte, wie sehr die Menschen den Song mochten, gingen sie mit Christian Eigner, dem Produzenten von Depeche Mode, ins Studio. Und da ist er jetzt: Der Song für unsere wundervolle Heimat und seine wunderbaren Menschen!
Alle Einnahmen und Spenden aus dem Song gehen direkt an das SPENDEN-SHUTTLE und fließen direkt und zu 100% in unsere Projekte ein. Den Song findet ihr auch auf allen bekannten Streaming-Plattformen.
Englische Version
The Heizer Monkeys’ new single ‘You AHR Not Alone’ is about the struggles and bravery of the people hit by the flood catastrophe. Lead singer Joey came from Manchester to be a helper in Dernau in August because he has friends from the Ahrtal. When he came home he wrote this song for his helper friends. The band saw how local people loved this song, so they went into the studio with their close friend Christian Eigner of Depeche Mode to record it. Christian co-produces and plays organs on the brand new single.
All proceeds from downloads and streaming will go directly to Spenden Shuttle to be distributed to projects for the benefit of the people of the Ahrtal. The band will also play for free at the Helpers’ Concert in 2022. Their message is solidarity - among neighbours, across regions and across nations. You AHR Not Alone.
